David is passionate about the rescue and long-term wellbeing of children. In January 2010 David and his wife Andrea, along with their children, moved to Thailand where David served with ZOE for over 11 years.  During this time David worked with ZOE indigenous staff on programs to prevent the trafficking and exploitation of children. David assisted ZOE’s efforts in the rescue of children (alongside Government and Law Enforcement) and journeyed alongside children and the ZOE Thailand staff to help restore the lives of child trafficking survivors.

In 2011, David helped ZOE with the establishment of ZOE Foundation Australia. Since 2018, David has been assisting ZOE with global operations, communication and strategy. In 2021, David and his family returned to Australia where he currently serves as the ZOE Foundation Australia CEO.

Prior to joining ZOE, David owned and managed a business in Melbourne, Australia.  For 16 years, he used his position in business to practically and financially support Australian children, through specialised children’s camps and foster care. He was also a volunteer foster care parent for children in need of respite, emergency care and short-term placements.

David graduated with a Commerce degree with majors in Management and Marketing at Deakin University.

SARAH JACOB

SECRETARY

Corporate Lawyer, Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG)

Sarah is an in house corporate lawyer at Insurance Australia Group Limited (IAG) specialising in cross functional legal advice to key business partners. She has years of experience in Australian insurance law both from a private practice and in house perspective. Sarah’s current legal practice varies on a daily basis however it shares the same purpose of providing legal, compliance and ethical advice to IAG. She is also involved in the strategic processes of the business and is currently focused on legal technology solutions to improve efficiencies and streamline in house processes.

Aside from her corporate work, Sarah is serving as a Board Director at Revive Church in Sydney and also shares the role of Missions Director with her husband at Revive. She is actively involved in local and overseas social justice projects in a legal and non legal capacity, including a two year volunteer engagement at Salvos Legal in Sydney.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Law combined with a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accounting) and is currently studying a Masters of Legal Business at College of Law.

LES GINOZA

Vice President, ZOE and ZOE International Foundation, Thailand

Les is the Vice President of Operations for ZOE worldwide. Les is also the director of the ZOE business school and micro-enterprise program. He oversees humanitarian projects to feed the poor and helps develop self-sustaining projects in lower economic communities to help combat one of the major reasons for human trafficking – poverty. He mentors ZOE’s Thai male staff and is in charge of developing self-sustaining agricultural and husbandry projects at ZOE.

Les has over 17 years of senior management experience in various financial institutions in Hawaii and California. He previously served as the President of the Hawaii Credit Union Marketers’ Association and now serves as the Vice President of ZOE and is on the ZOE Board of Directors.
 

IAN COWIE

Senior Minister, Jesus Live Church

Ian Cowie is a Christian Minister with 35 years experience as a senior leader.  Ian brings over 30 years experience of supporting both church and non-governement works in Thailand with an emphasis on encouragement and empowerment of local leaders. He is married to Linda and together they are parents to 6 adult children and grandparents to 8 children.
