What information to provide:
When making a referral, it's essential to provide as much detail as possible. You can call to discuss the situation with one of our team and we will then likely request that you email additional information regarding:
- Affected person: Full name, date of birth, and any relevant details about their situation and their last known location (state, suburb or address).
- Suspected perpetrators: Information about any individuals who may be causing harm to the affected person including last known location (state, suburb or address).
- Evidence: Screenshots or photos, if available, can be sent via email. These will be passed on to law enforcement for further investigation.
Important Guidlines:
- Personal safety: While collecting information, ensure you do not put yourself or others in harm's way.
- Role of law enforcement: It is the responsibility of law enforcement to investigate the matter. ZOE will pass the information along to the appropriate authorities.
